Julia Lea de Toledo
founding partner of Atotô Filmes.
Filmmaker and documentarian, with a degree in Social Sciences from Unicamp and a master’s degree from the Fundación Universidad del Cine (FUC) in Argentina.
Since 2014, she has been dedicated to producing documentaries for film and television, working in various roles such as screenwriter, researcher, assistant director, production coordinator, and director.
As a director, she helmed the mid-length documentary Se essa rua fosse minha, which was selected for 13 international festivals and won the Best Documentary award at the PortoFemme Festival (2022) in Portugal. She is currently developing the scripts for the feature documentaries Memória encriptada sob a pele, Entre Mundos, and Procura-se uma casa na Mooca. In 2024, Entre Mundos was selected for the international documentary market Conecta, held in Santiago, Chile.
Over the course of her career, she has worked on feature documentaries such as Al otro lado del muro (Pau Ortiz, 2017), Rio da Dúvida (Joel Pizzini, 2018), Proibido Nascer no Paraíso (Joana Nin, 2021), Ultra Bebê (Joana Nin, 2018), Meu Bebê Reborn (Joana Nin, 2018), Aos nossos filhos (Maria de Medeiros, 2019), Mulheres Radicais (Isabel Nascimento, 2023), and Convergência Agroambiental (Marcelo Machado, 2024). She also contributed to short films such as Carne (Mariana Jaspe, 2018), Quebramar (Cris Lyra, 2019), and Formas de Habitar (Paz Bustamante, 2019), as well as documentary series including Arquitetos Brasileiros (Jorge Saad Jafet and Fernanda Heinz Figueiredo, 2025), Travessias Desiguais (Tiago Pereira, 2025), and Criação Brasileira (Fernanda Heinz Figueiredo, 2026).

Elienay Annunciation
Producer and Director at Atotô
Graduated in Performing Arts from UNESP, she specialized in documentary filmmaking in the master's degree at the Fundación Universidad del Cine (FUC) in Argentina. She directed the short films Reza (2018) and Notícias (2022),
which were shown and awarded at international festivals and exhibitions. He acted in the feature films Ituzaingó V3rit4 (BAFICI, 2019) and Sagrada (Cineteca Nacional México, 2018), both directed by Argentine filmmaker Raul Perrone.
In 2020, she was selected as a director for the Berlinale Talents Buenos Aires program. She is currently working on the development of her first feature film in partnership with Atotô Filmes and collaborates with the production companies Beel Films (SP), Bela Baderna (SP) and Breu Filmes (AC), in the areas of production and editing. In the area of education, she teaches classes in the Executive Production course at the Academia Internacional de Cinema (AIC) and at the Cinema and Photography Workshop at Fábrica de Cultura (Poiesis). In addition, she provides consultancy services focused on writing and developing documentaries.
